Winter Whiteness
As we are an Autumn away from sliding into a new season of fresh powder-like slopes, we embraced the multi-layered, whitish Apres-Ski looks and developed a min-collection of three complete styles.
This showcases a teamwork of three different designers who are always devoted to high-quality fabrics, unique details and luxury accessories. We designed a collection of rather classic pieces enriched with cool, custom-made twists in the details, such as: custom-made prints, embroidered logos, designer accessories. It is quite obvious that this mini-collection recalls the archives of women photographed while soaked in the Winter sun on world's steepest ski resorts shattered in the mountain jewels of Olympic Winter sports.
Outfit 1
Inspired by women's ski-outfits from the `70s I tried to merge the classic look with slightly more modern accessories. Hence, I opted for Moonboots and a fur cap in a more voluminous exaggerated style. The details, such as buttons and embroidery are hand-crafted and logos hand-embroidered. On a more practical side, some of the parts of the clothes are enforced by a double layer to ensure warmth and structure for a colder environment.
Outfit 2
The keyword would be cosy.
Forever fascinated by geometry and its endless possibilities, the design was created with an accent on shapes and bright colors, intertwined in custom-made prints. Placed in an imagined nordic-like landscape, the shawl and fur textures contribute to the coziness of the outfit.
The boots are experimental and intended to be made out of recycled plastic.
Outfit 3
The inspiration behind the outfit is the philosophy of layering clothes just to keep us warm during the coldest weather conditions but jet giving us the ability to transform and adjust our outfits to match changing conditions and environments. Warm and bulky knits are the base of the model, then the next level is a oversized body warmer made with breathable textiles technology that has zipper vents on the sides for additional comfort and more loose fit. The outfit is completed with eye shades suitable for every season and waterproof chunky boots.
